Harp v. Qwest
In Harp v. Qwest, thousands of wireless customers needed to be properly informed of the terms and conditions that their service with Qwest was provided under. Hilsoft Notifications was asked to study the factors involved with communicating a mandatory arbitration clause such that Qwest customer could be bound by it. Hilsoft provided in-depth analyses of mailing issues, and qualitative observations on the effectiveness of various methods for designing and disseminating successful notices. After providing recommendations by affidavit, the Court ruled firmly in favor of Hilsoft's notice views. As a result, Hilsoft Notifications' specific recommendations to improve the communication would allow enhanced notice to Qwest customers.
